To All:

There was some very positive articles on Pentium Pro in Monday's
(actually out now) Investor's Daily. Talks about how Pentium Pro
is taking away market share from UNIX, RISC-based servers. Very
positive forecast for PP sales for 1997.

Also, I have been hearing that Europe and Asian mkts. have bottomed
out and expect good growth (2-3%) for 1997.

Also, NT 4.0 should be in full swing by 1Q 1997, along with corporate
upgrades.

I have a feeling that 97 will be a banner year for Intel's business
and soon major investment players will start realizing that (and so
will its stock price). This stock is WAY TOO cheap based on future
earning forecasts.

In terms of 2Q results, I expect Intel to AT LEAST meet them, mainly
because every CURRENT report says that PC sales are healthy. This
is what's important for Intel, not a BTB < 1 or falling DRAM prices
(which actually helps Intel). Don't expect a big negative, or else
Intel would have preannounced already. I think Microsoft will also
have decent earnings, which will help Intel.

If INTC meets earnings AND the analyst meeting is generally optimistic,
expect the stock to run into the 80s by the end of July.

Any comments?
