>Recall that debt issues were made outside the US. There is a reason for that.... Morgan Stanley raised the ist billion here in the USA. The 2nd $700 million were in euro's. Morgan Stanley felt the Amzn's expansion into Europe would make it more attractive to european investors than back here in the USA. I believe its safe to say never has a company received such favorable terms on junk bonds...that's why Bezos went that route rather than issuing more stock. Btw If you know anyone who will lend me almost $2 billion without me having to make an interest payment for 10 years...please let me know!
