the people who didn't 'fight the Fed' in 1930 and 31 (the only comparable post bubble period over the last century) got their heads handed to them. a central bank is powerless to stop the consequences of a bursting bubble.

i'm looking for the VIX to at least better the 40 mark before i'm considering the possibility of a low...as mentioned before, the Dow's fibo time rhythm points to a March 14 low for that index...other indices may bottom earlier or later.
