And I agree with the point, of course. If you had read enough to see that average joe insinuated that Poet was trading in off shore accounts, and that she said it wasn't true, and registered shock and demanded to know why he said that, and that his answer was to inform her "reassuringly" (special significance, ie, not to be taken literally; sarcasm) that it wasn't illegal, she shouldn't "sweat it" (a quote), would you disapprove? You apparently don't know that average joe has a "specialty" (emphasis) of dropping insinuations and refusing to document, retract, or apologize. He could use apologies, but an apologist is another matter. You may quote me on that.
