First, he is not my good buddy, I barely know him, and some of the encounters have been unpleasant.
Second, I did not come over as his apologist. I was skimming through threads between answering e- mails, and a couple of things struck me, and I foolishly commented on them. I apologize for getting in the middle.
Third, if he made such allegations, and I have some vague recollection of them, sure, I think he should apologize. But I have no special leverage with him to get him to do so.
