No, but why do we need a "test" to draw reasonable conclusions? Even in the worst of times, we had Agouron. One product approval, and it completed a ten-bagger run from 1995. Moreover, it tripled in the short span following Johnson's brave move to go to the public markets for money to make the final run.

And, as we know, Warner Lambert coughed up a wise $2.1 billion in '99.

Given a leveraged business plan and a given single success that addresses a market of decent size, appreciation will follow. If general market lethargy means that it doesn't happen instantaneously, so much the better...... back up the truck.

So...... your point is moot, even without my valid liquidity argument.
