hi pw

i love your question about two hard drives needing two controller cards, or else they can not operate simultaneously. i do not know whether this is for certain, and i am actively seeking more input on the topic. my personal feeling is that they can function together, but i realize now that that has always been more of an assumption on my part than a knowledge-based fact. i read so many recommendations, for instance, to place the swap file on a second drive to enhance performance, and it doesn't seem to correlate that these recs would be made if the drives were each waiting for each other.

i hope that anyone with definitive info on the subject will please reply.

:)
