Dear Tim:

In that case, you should write in a candidate. But, at least go and vote in all the other races.

However, Scumbria touts Al Gore. Therefore, he should have voted for Al Gore. He did not. From his post, he implied that he did not vote at all. I think that is wrong. All the candidates in all the races and any referendums still deserve to be voted on. Besides, there were many more candidates for president than either Bush or Gore. Were all of them unacceptable?

Of course, this assumes that he can vote. There are only three ways he could not vote, he is underage (not possible given other posts), he is not a citizen of this country (not probable given that he was born in Los Alamos, NM (his words)), and/or he is a convicted felon (unknown, assume not).

He has lost the right to complain that Bush won (stole the election, etc.) because he did not vote for the one he promulgates (Gore). If he is so all fired up about it (just look at all the posts), he should have voted. What do you call a person that says one thing but, does another?

Pete
