USA Video Interactive at Kagan Streaming Broadband Summit on Panel Discussing Wireless Media Streaming Future

New York City, February 28, 2001 -- USA Video Interactive (OTCBB: USVO; CDNX: US; www.usvo.com) will participate in a panel discussion on the future of wireless media streaming, bringing audio and video to consumers via handheld PDAs and other wireless devices.

Streaming media opportunities are expanding rapidly, and this will only accelerate as computing migrates off of the desktop to the mobile environment," said Matthew Kinnaman, USA Video Interactive Vice President of Strategic Innovation. "The most successful rich media companies are formulating services for the mobile environment today, while preparing to move from basic capabilities to bandwidth-intensive applications as connectivity allows."

The panel is part of the executive Kagan Streaming Broadband Summit: The Race Toward Sustainable Revenue Models being held in New York City March 1 by Paul Kagan Associates (www.kagan.com), the international high-tech media research firm. The conference is chaired by Kagan Senior Vice President Larry Gerbrandt, and keynote speakers include Rob Glaser, Chairman and CEO of RealNetworks; Scott Kurnit, Chairman & CEO of About, Inc.; and Hilary B. Rosen, President and CEO of Recording Industry Association of America. According to Kagan, the conference "will examine intensively the economics of streaming audio and video and explore the economic models that are working - as well as the ones that simply need more scale - and look at the case studies of the models that went awry during the 2000 crash." Panelists include executives from DoubleClick, iBeam, MediaStation, Broadstream, Akamai, CBS Marketwatch, and other leading Internet media companies.
