Flyby or touch-and-go?

That Art Cashin on CNBC is pretty sharp. He just interpreted what Greenspan said today: " we have a supper efficient economy in both up and down markets." He said we are slowing but " Hey guys, I just gave you two booster shots totaling 1.00% so give it time." Arthur suggested that Greenspan was saying we might not be arguing "hard or soft landing" but a "fly by".

Personally, I think a "touch and go" would be more accurate as Greenspan said we are NOW at zero growth. Still, I like Art Cashin's interpretation.

The markets sure are not reading it this way, but I sure see signs that things are better. Perhaps it is just another sunny day here and I might get to go windsurfing this afternoon?
