diamond, my apologies for not keeping up on the thread. your apology is graciously accepted and i apologize if i came off as a rude "i told you so" jerk. not my intention, but intentions don't mean much if that was the perception of the readers. glad to hear you are still doing at least ok - hopefully up decent from a few years back.

manias are frustrating for all involved. the people that see it for what it is are frustrated as all get out that few see it - and the crazier one is, the more dough they make. permabulls get frustrated when the bubble pops - as it always does. the market is tough.

i'm also mostly in cash. i see a few good buys, but i'm scared as all get out that "shoot 'em all and let god sort them out" will be the rule of the day when msft has no eps growth rate, dell is approaching single digit growth and csco's growth rate is cut badly.

imagine msft with a 10 pe... very rich, given no growth, by normal market standards...

i'm holding my favorite dawg stock, swtx, b/c it is too low to sell. managed by morons, but even a broken analog clock is right =twice a day so i'm hoping they put something together so i can dump 'em.

good luck. the wisdom you learned will benefit you for a lifetime.
