I think Cramer groveled too hard to get on CNBC for them to give him the boot. He will tout that 2000 performance like Joe Namath selling pantyhose after the 1969 Super Bowl. He had to quit the hedge fund lest he revert back to mediocre performance. They have to see the ratings tank before they ditch the Mellow Jello.
