Three distinguished scientists have agreed to serve on the company's scientific advisory board. The board has been assembled to review, counsel and advise the company's scientific staff on direction, resources, new technology and product research activities.
Dr Johnathan B. Chaires is profess of biochemistry at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, Mississippi.
Dr Donald E. Low is chief, department of microbiology, Mt Sinai and Princess Margaret Hospitals, Toronto, Ontario. Dr Low is also a professor of medicine and microbiology at the University of Toronto.
Dr Bernard J. Poiesz is professor of medicine and microbiology/immunology, and director, Regional Oncology Center, at SUNY Health Science Center, Syracuse, New York.
The company's scientific advisory board will be chaired by Dr Diana H. Pliura, vice president of MDS Health Ventures Capital Corp and will also include the company's scientific program directors: Dr Albert S. Benight, and Dr Michael J. Lane.
