OT Re:"worst earthquake in American history" It also built the landscape that I played on in my youth. Reelfoot Lake, Chisholm Lake Bluff, Sunk Lake Hill (where a lake sunk, duh). Beautiful country with tall trees and Bald Eagles. The earthquake created Reelfoot lake, which caused the Mississippi to run backwards 3 days while filling. Redbird
