did you happen to notice when consumer confidence plummeted? and isn't that the key to falling demand? some of you'll hollar at me but it's not a coincidence that the events in Florida and the end result occurred and everyone became very uneasy...and I think that unease will continue because people remember the 1980s when we were told we could have it all - a massive tax cut and a huge military build up at the same time, followed by "Read my lips..." from Bush Pere. Bush Fil's tax cut and debt paydown will bring the national debt back to where it was when Carter left office - about $1 trillion. This isn't hyperbole - these are verifiable facts. People remember and there is an unease that is going to continue until we get back to and stay in the middle of the road on these things. Dee Jay
