Just this week, I told a very good friend of mine, who was seeking a little financial guidance, to focus on her career and build job skills. Take on management-type responsibilities, etc. She's young and has plenty of time _ and she sure doesn't need to lose her nestegg trying to be a stock-market cowboy in this environment.
