yes. recent experiments have shown that the best superconductor wire yet to be tested was the one using both a silver core and mantle. essentially, the superconducting material (which is in powder form) is inside a silver tube, and a silver wire is inserted in the middle. the electrons then flow without resistance in the area where the superconducting material and the silver touch. one day all electrical wires will look like that. it's a HUGE future source of silver demand
