However I have questions about the markets. While I see a need for companies to finance their ventures, and some are always going to be just scams, I see no need for other investing techniques such as shorting, futures, etc, etc, etc.. What purpose to they provide? Who do they help? They have the same right to exist as you do. Certainly you are not telling us what we can and can't do with our money? Maybe you need to move to California if those are your leanings
