Re: Landis

I've been wondering the same thing. I believe in his most recent filings Landis disclosed he owns something like 7.5% of WIND in his two funds. That's great as long as he's buying but can wreak havoc if he's faced with any redemption pressure by fundholders in light of the continuing NASDAQ "correction". When a fund is experiencing net outflows the manager is forced to sell to meet redemptions regardless of what he may think of the value of his holdings.

Some skittishness in front of tomorrow's earnings report might be expected in this market but the severity of the slide over the past few days suggests that there are other factors at work.
