I don't dislike Jackson, Sharpton and Rangel because they are black. That WOULD make me a bigot. It is very offensive to be called one, and you are a bit quick to jump to the conclusion that I am one based on the fact that three people that I think send a terrible message to the people they claim to represent are black. Jesse Jackson tried to start race riots in Florida based on blacks being held back from the poles even though there is NO evidence to support that. That is evil and self serving to me, and I don't care what color his skin is. He is a hate monger that insists on a black vs. white mentality that harms our country, and more sadly hurts the black population as a whole (imo).

Sharpton tried to "lynch" a law abiding white person by stating that he raped a black girl and smeared feces on her. Explain how that helps the black community or how ANY person black or white could ever take him for anything other than the vile creature that he is.

Truth is (as I see it) that if you are black and you talk of responsibility and offer the promise that anyone can make it in America you are labeled a traitor to the black community. There is contingency in America that think people like Colin Powell should not be looked up to as a leader, but people like Sharpton and Jackson should. The people that make that choice are hurting themselves in my opinion.

I see Rangel badmouthing the repub position time and time again and maybe let that influence my opinion a bit too much, but it goes back to my position that he is very divisive and I don't think that is a good thing.

Regarding your picks for who the great demo leaders are it is hard for me to understand why so many feel that a compulsive liar, womanizer and cheat is a good example of a leader (referring to Clinton here). Barabar Boxer is one of the most divisive, foul human beings on earth if you ask me. She makes her career by throwing out a republican that was accused of sexual harassment and fully supports a dem that has a FAR FAR FAR FAR worse record in that regard. People with no principals do not deserve to be leaders in America imo.

Jimmy Carter and Daniel Moynihan are decent enough folks. Diane Feinstein is too liberal for me, but I beleive she is a relatively honest and decent person. Worlds better than her evil counterpart BB.

Anyway, I like to debate but don't like the name calling. Calling someone a bigot is pretty strong. Your evidence that I am one ("naming 3 African-Americans as people you dislike") is extremely weak. Ted Kennedy makes me sick if that helps at all, but then I must ad Maxine Waters to my list as well.
