| Haim, I agree with you. I think the numbers will likely confirm the need for intervention and I think intervention (pre-fed meeting) is possible. I remember a few weeks back when stocks were selling off I missed the initial run up when stocks rallied and I swore I wouldn't miss it again. We certainly are right there again in a deeply oversold situation. Stocks are selling off like we are in a depression and like there will be bread lines starting next week. I'm not necessarily saying we will start a long uptrend from here but maybe a run of 20% or more in many individual stocks (Csco, intel, sunw, amcc, brcd, emc, jnpr, cien, brcm, beas etc. etc.). Will someone ring a bell 5 minutes before it starts? My prediction, based on a severly oversold position in the Naz, is for a selling tommarow to start the day and then a 2 day rally through Friday. Final question. Of the many individual companies, assuming we do get a strong (albiet st) rally, which companies will be the first and most to rally in that 2 day span? Steve D. |
