I'd say at this point, don't listen to my opinion about IBM.

I think they are in a very good competitive position product wise, but going into a recession (possibly a bad one) I can't believe they wouldn't be affected. I haven't seen any obvious signs of a slowdown [such as about a year and a half ago when there were memo's about cost cutting ahead of the Y2K profit warning], but given the economic environment, maybe they feel warnings or cost cutting are unneccisary. I just don't know, but it would be damn odd if they could make it through this without being affected by a recession.
