I do not doubt that Cramer is a fool. It was not the article, just the data the interested me. The data is from Boomberg and only backs out splits since 1998. Splits are worth taking into account when phenomenal gains in the price of a stock leads to many quick splits. It is a good thing to remind oneself now and then that SUNW is not just a $20 stock, but a company with a huge market-cap (3-1/4 billion shares!) whose shares two years ago were $166 at this level.

This is useful when one looks at many of these tech charts. On should not ignore support out of hand that is down around $10 or $20 because it seems to cheap. These prices may reflect months of support building that occurred a few years ago.

CAtechTrader: You and I have not exchanged posts before, but I can assure you that I do not come over here often and when I do it is not to post some trivial bearish propaganda. No matter.

Best of Luck. Allan.
