Jacob, I have no interest in watching my money bleed away so I will NOT re-enter into a significant position until there is a clear indication that we've bottomed out and that there are clear indications that contracts are being signed for the infrastructure build out...

...and I will continually keep my eye on this 3G hype for what it is. Visions of the current lousy state of affairs in cellular translating into 1xEV bother me. It is nice to see Jacobs walk around with his wireless internet connection, but will it work between my house and the pool? Or in the car as I give the wheel to wifey so I can do some work online. How many times will the thing crap out on me before I get frustrated and cancel the service?

I maintain that there is a distinct possibility that the market will not explode (EPS wise) for quite some time...longer than what is now being touted. And it is an EPS explosion that I am looking for in the companies I want to own.

In terms of stock price, I want to see some strong evidence that $50 will hold before I start buying THIS dip.

As many newcomers were fond of saying when they came to this thread in '99...they waited until QCOM proved itself as a budding gorilla while us early birds sat and spun for years before. Well, I'm gonna wait until this economy clears up and the telecommunication industry signals that it can handle its debt AND migrate to 3G.

Rick
