It may only be a temporary bottom. Many are still looking for that illusive bottom to jump in and catch the rebound. This is not the kind of mentality that bottoms are made of. Individual stocks are still getting smashed when they disappoint and revise downward and valuations are still high in many techs. I also doubt cash levels are that high as much of stock value has gone to money heaven and the public went to such extremes to invest over the last few years that available capital is not nearly what it used to be nor what can be obtained.
