OT- Puna....Am so sorry to hear about your mishap on the surfboard...And you are a whole lot braver than I would be...even thinking of blood and sharks in the same sentence gives me the creeps...and you are right...you most probably would have been much safer here. We feel fortunate as everyone is OK...but then the other side of that is that we lost some very nice, including in the damage a couple of pieces that can't be replaced..The one that is hardest to take is a grandmothers wedding plate, given to her in 1909...and it was many years old at that time. Some of the other things were more expensive, but loosing that is hard, to say the very least. She had written on it some notes to me...notes were on adhesive tape, and they haven't moved in all these years, except for today. Wonder if Roger, and our other SI friends had things that fell....in our place it was the side facing the western exposure that got the worst hits.... It certainly gives all of us pause, and makes us think about things that are much more important....like family and friends, and life. Wonder what happened to the little girl who felt safer being under your desk with you than under hers? And speaking of stars, I even wondered what the astrologers say about all of this.... Take care of yourself....K~
