Some clues there that Phase 3 of the Bear may be beginning. The news has definitely turned sour, and the public is starting to realize that we're in a bear market. Both are signs of phase 3. New lows are outpacing new highs on the NYSE today, which is another requirement. Transports and industrials need to hit new lows for confirmation, and the A/D line should also. It will be time to start looking for bargains at that point. If phase 3 is just now beginning, and it lasts approx. 1/2 the time of the sum of the 1st two phases, it should end in about 7 months (November).
