I'm not sure what QuoteTraker is, but for real-time quotes I gage the market indices with the following ticker symbols:

Nasdaq:   QQQ (Nasdaq 100)
Dow:      DIA
S&P 500:  SPY
The raw numbers are different, but the percentage changes are very close. I think (but could easily be wrong) the DIA and SPY are are replicas of their corresponding index (and therefore have identical percentage changes), but the QQQ is not (but close enough for me).
