The Micronet patents I have seen seem to have to primarily do with the unique case designs of some of their units. Do have a hunch they will be salable in some way or other eventually.For something.A bundle with ADS would be nice, but one of the complications of the ADS sale already is that their biggest moneymaker ( to the best of my very limited knowledge) is still their flight recorder biz, and the folks that wish to get DST may not be especially eager to handle the DCR business also - though with defense spending on the rise maybe that will change.Sony would really have seemed tobe perfect. They do both. All just crazy guesses on my part -- there is so much we don't know. Like Glen,I'll believe the French release when I see it.For a long time,Microsoft has been hiring more elite mathematicians than anyone but the CIA....and their player is the best they could come up with for streaming.Ampex has a truly rich history of compression expertise ( the DCT is still the best), and ITG is the best they can manage. But it sure will be worth tuning in for.If it is true, on balance it would be plus in my opinion.
