Via Says February Revenue Rose 10% Over January to NT$3.3 Bln 3/1/01 3:01 AM Source:Bloomberg News Taipei, March 1 (Bloomberg) -- Via Technologies Inc., Taiwan's biggest chip designer by sales, said revenue last month rose a tenth from January because of improved sales. Revenue in February rose to NT$3.3 billion ($102 million). Via said its chipsets, which connect all the components of a computer's motherboard, accounted for more than four-fifths of February sales. ''Demand for chipsets have improved, especially for our products that are compatible with'' Advanced Micro Devices Inc.'s processors, said Manuela Mercandelli, a Via spokeswomen.
