I do see that the swings are contracting in amplitude. So we know a move is coming. Ordinarily would be up, but in my experience in such times that is much less likely - its like a big red I DARE YOU contraction.

Someone will be trapped, could just as easily be longs as shorts.

Frequently these will fake to one side or the other and then the real bounce or puke begins.
