When I get some more time we have to talk. I bought Video Blaster MovieMaker USB, for video capture from a Sony Hi8, I want to convert all my video to digital, then onto CDROM.

Really pleased at the quality, the reason I want it all on CD is the ability to search the video faster. Of course prized video will still be on tape, you still can't beat the quality when played on the TV.

I am running a Dell XPS450 P2 with 128MB of ram, and a ATI 32MB Rage Fury video card, and the system runs very nice and smooth. Some of my videos are 500MB ++ in size and I see not performance issues as of yet. My new Dell, when I get it, should be a lot faster for this work. It will be a Dell 8100 P4 either a 1.3 or 1.5.
