One thing that is interesting. While some large cap stocks have had an increase in short positions, many small cap internets have not. Looks as if some short covering has already started. For instance ARBA had a +8 million added recently, similar to what was stated about PPRO. Then look at short interest for others, RNWK down to 1.6%, HLTH at 2.2%, INKT at 3.3%, and I could go on. If I am right there is little downside for the latter, but when the market does turn those with heavy short interest should pop first giving some time to take positions in the smaller cap stocks. Good investing.
