You really believe IBM is going to up forecasts? Reality check. Consistent lowering from other computer companies. Layoffs. Dot-bombs. Over production of PC's, servers, and networks for the revolution in commerce the Internet would bring. The Y2K bug that wasn't. The appearance of these rumors around 2:30 p.m. on market lower days. Maybe they will, but I wouldn't stake a big amount of capital on it. CD
