This market is not based on anything fundamental, just like it wasn't when it was at 5,000, imo. Sentiment ruled it then and I think it has ruled it now. If market sentiment turns positive we'll rally, if it stays negative we won't.

I aint gambling on either one.

This proves the market is in severe "schizoid state". However, the market 'wants to ralley" it just couldn't figure out a good reason for doing it. IBM gave them that reason. Tomorrow the bottom question will be posed. MSNBC will now start interviewing people that say that it is. The Quick abrupt V was created by IBM who had a "tete a tete" with "some investors. Read brokerages. They will be accused of a selective update...but the point is that the market scared the crap out of the shorts and many covered. SOXX is up ballistic and now we have a "positive" to look forward to...Greenspan 20 March

So like the forever bull I am, I bought Corv,DSG, QQQ and am holding like a bull......so i guess I am saying the bottom is in. I never thought they would dare break the 52 week low 3 days ago. If they want to give 4th degree burns to the last investors in the market, all they have to do is sell it off tomorrow....But Friday will be an UP day!

However, my opinion only, lose your own money as you see fit.
