There are differences between what you want and what Sr. Executive Vice
President of Apple wants. What you want them to is just a wish or teasing,
while what Apple executives want is not only a wish, but also a determination
and will that force Apple to accomplish the goal. It seems to be no problems
for Apple to return to profitability in the fourth quarter, but can it retain
in black after 4th Q of 97 that remains to be seen.

The current quarter's results will be as important as 4th Q's. Based on last
year's data (Revenue and net income), the third quarter's net income may
be near (-32 millions of 3rd Q, 96, excluding any charges) or less due to the
stuff reduction that has been kicked in in this quarter and currency exchange
rates that benefits international corporations. If the revenue can exceed
1.875 billions, it is possible to get back to black in the current quarter.
