A high beta stock rebounding from a slow-motion crash? February was the third largest monthly decline ever for the Nasdaq: worldlyinvestor.com Four of the ten worst have occurred in the last twelve months. I have beta for AXTI versus the Nasdaq Composite of about 1.8, using weekly data for the last two years. It may be slightly different for daily data, but I don't buy Market Guide's number of 0.43 versus the S&P 500. That smells like garbage in, garbage out. <g> It looks like your buying turned the tide.
