Albert,

re: that may be :-)) but I always thought that it is a function of expectations. Reductions in expectations lead to lower price. Intel brand got value but not the value it used to have. Cash is still there but not enough to justify market cap.

The Intel brand may have more value than it has ever had. It's subjective. Brand puts a base under the stock price, unlike a company that doesn't have brand equity.

re: Amd margins may turn negative but that is already priced in the stock.

Right...

re: Intel is demanding higher price but at this point less and less people are willing to pay for the brand. Commercial sector may be next.

Another subjective opinion, born and communally reinforced on the AMD thread.

re: Lower cost producer? ... p4 is larger than athlon.

Now. And now P4 is a small portion of Intel sales NOW. Intel is the low cost producer NOW.

re: Servers and notebooks fantasy

Where is AMD NOW? What guarantee do you have that they will EVER get ANY market share?

re: I do not believe that ownership of the stock should matter but if you insist then I own both amd and intel

Do you own a lot of stocks that you believe their share price will "collapse". Seems your investment is contradicting your opinion?
