re: that may be :-)) but I always thought that it is a function of expectations. Reductions in expectations lead to lower price. Intel brand got value but not the value it used to have. Cash is still there but not enough to justify market cap.

The Intel brand may have more value than it has ever had. It's subjective. Brand puts a base under the stock price, unlike a company that doesn't have brand equity.

Now. And now P4 is a small portion of Intel sales NOW. Intel is the low cost producer NOW.

Where is AMD NOW? What guarantee do you have that they will EVER get ANY market share?

Do you own a lot of stocks that you believe their share price will "collapse". Seems your investment is contradicting your opinion?
