Your point is well taken that some stocks may be bottoming. Of the 30 I follow closely, only a 5 seem to show some signs of flattening out. However, I have seen some plateaus drop off again, so I am wary of buying them yet.

But, the time will come. A couple of posts back someone mentioned the 1929 bargain hunters. I read somewhere that the biggest losses where to the people who picked up "bargains" late in '29 and then watched them slide to zero by 1932. But, history does not necessary repeat itself.
