someone ask me the following question: What does visibility mean? My response: It means company officials do not have clear picture looking forward. This is my take. What's happening is the top people running the show in the USA have stop many big budget outlays as they wait and see what happens to the economy, this kind of action snow balls, effecting everyone up and down the ladder. It's very important to turn around the psychology in both the consumer and the corporate world before it all gets out of hand, this is way Bush should stop talking down the economy and why the government should pass the tax break quickly so sentiment doesn't deteriorate more then it has. Even if the tax break doen't mean that much right away in hard dollars, when you get right down to it it's corporate, consumer, and investor psychology that really rule the economy. Tax reduction will go a long way in changing the tone, as frees up the government to talk up the economy. Sure structure problem do exist in high-tech having a secular slow down in some areas, but a foundation can be dug out so the market can continue the weeding out process while it lays the foundation for the next bull.
