Trilobyte,
I sell tech to financial service firms. Larry is describing exactly what happened in our space. I do not believe budgets have been cut but decisions at the highest levels are being deferred month to month and particularly quarter to quarter.. What I sell and what Oracle sells is essential for the future of these respective firms. My gut tells me spigot will open in the april as new client quarters begin. The catalyst will be a clear message from the fed and the finalization of the tax cut. Under this scenario Oracle is a screaming buy now. They should do just fine. Wouldnt you thing that the 30 day 43% pounding prior to today would be enough pain. The action in the extended market is a pure overreaction and tonights and perhaps tomorrow mornings lows may turn out to be the bottom---15 at the outside. This might shape up like the 34 emc bottom a week ago. Mike
