I am really somewhat baffled by your diatribe. It bears so little relationship to anything I have said that I suspect you have been shadow boxing with someone for whom you have made me a proxy.

I never accepted your equation of claims and demands, and I continually reiterated that most moral behavior has nothing to do with coercion, but with self- control according to obligations one has come to recognize. This is, pretty much, the idea of moral autonomy as it is commonly used. How it robs individuals of humanity to expect them to be considerate and responsible in their relationships with others beats me. But since you decline to argue with me, but instead continue to argue with someone I have never met, and pretend it is me, it seems futile to continue......
