Dave and thread, like many I suspect, I've been culling my portfolio to those companies with attractive PE's that sell below their growth rates. A few of my current favorites are AVX, GLW, IDTI, SSTI, and TFS. I also own ADBE, QLGC, SNDK and VSH which are attractive. I've been having fun trading DNA and especially HGSI, nice and volatile both! <g> I've also been paying attention recently to most recent 3-5 quarters' revenue and earnings surprises, which are available on marketguide.com as well as other places. I'd be interested in your thoughts on any of the above. I'm willing to hold all of them long term, but I also enjoy scalping when given quick opportunities. Trading costs are low with brownco.com. Unfortunately, I have the occasional ORCL and TXN that averaging down upon hasn't been very profitable of late. I'm going to add to ORCL if they trash it too much tomorrow, such as 16-17 area. Paul
