Jeff, your input here is highly appreciated, and I, for one, am honored that you responded to my request.

I must confess that I've not read this month's report yet (I downloaded it from email two days ago and it's on my weekend read list) but it seems that we're in sync on a number of issues that I brought out in my upstream.

For one, you noted the encumbrance offered by network address translation (NAT) and firewalls <I'd forgotten about the firewall problem>, as I did, but you didn't give a hint how those would be overcome. What is your take? Do you see implementing IPv6 as a means towards an unencumbered end-to-end IP Telephony solution? Or, have I simlly made too much of this point?
