<<Bill, then again, if you have a problem with The Big Guy, I don't think I'd insure you at all. <g> >> + the quake.

Actually, my insurance agent in FL was familiar with my history of lightning's liking for me; was knocked out by a strike for about 15 min. at my dad's marina as a teenager (an excuse I used to use later with my ex-wife for not paying attention ;-) In my 30's another strike exploded a pine tree approx. 50' from me. These two happened AFTER the thunderstorm had passed. Some lightning trivia - lightning can travel 7 miles horizontally from its apex,
FL receives 17 times more ground hits than all other states combined. Although its not uncommon for my home county (Palm Bch), to record 2-3000 ground hits from a passing summer storm, the worst area is from Orlando to Tampa.
I've lost TV's, microwaves, computers (even through the phone line and modem), friends used to scramble away from me when storms approach <G>.

Came out of the quake (my 1st) f~i~n~e. I'm located about 30 mi. west of Seattle across the Sound. Did get rocked a bit, no damage. At least lightning is minimal out here, but then again, maybe The Big Guy just hasn't found me yet <G>

Best
