Jay, your opinion please.

My oldest daughter is a wholesale buyer and seller of diamonds and colored gems (non-enhanced).
Would diamonds be an equivalent investment to gold or is their attraction that they're easier to transport?

My physical gold is CA Maple Leafs, just for the intrinsic value as an investment in the metal as I have a means to buy and sell at market.
