I'm long everything,even msft.

Incoming! Duck and cover.

MSFT has certainly been very strong since the bounces off of $41. However, I have not been able to help wondering if perhaps MSFT has been having some troubles of their own, much along the lines of what ORCL just reported after the close Thursday: "U.S. executives are reluctant to sign off on major purchases". They are businessmen. A slowing economy has a domino effect on lots of companies doing business, particularly those involved with the infrastructure of companies. Stuff like new computer networks, and new software systems.

What Oracle sells is pretty closely related to the stuff that MSFT sells. The PC market has been poorly for awhile already. Granted, companies will start buying again, and will go ahead with those planned new systems. But for the last month or so, it has just seemed nuts to be long tech stocks. I really wouldn't be surprised if MSFT put out their own press release in the near future, something along the lines of ORCL's. ORCL dropped 21% after the bell on Thursday, and that was after the stock had already been in a freefall that left it "totally decimated". Just as the highs in tech stocks went to unbelievable highs for unbelievably long lengths of time, the reverse can and does happen also.

I'm still just staying on the sidelines and watching.
