roger, I have been shorting all this stuff hard the last 3 months. And the reason is that last year I noticed a big drop in my clients and other businesses purchases of network equipment ect. I also realized that I had not bot nor needed to upgrade my equipment or software for awhile, inlike the previous years where I was constantly getting new stuff. But there just isn't much out there that is new. Tech is not a commodity that has to be bought every year, its usually only needed for upgrades and expansion. I know the upgrade part is pretty flat now and if the economy is really slowing down then the expansion portion is lost also. If one of these companies reported sales that were half what was expected it would not surprise me. Not saying that is going to happen, but when budgets get tight companies can stop IT spending on a dime. Unlike all the other neccessary expenses, like toilet paper etc.:)
