AJ expressed his opinion of Emily on the Elian thread several times-- here's one reference. In the process he also took something I had written on DAR that had nothing to do with anything - it was a humor post--and somehow twisted it in the strangest way-- he became obsessed with the whole thing- and in posts to other people he would throw a quote of mone from the ED exchange out apropos of nothing- like a Tourettian interjection. (I made that word up)
I just spent half an hour rereading some of the Elian thread.
It is really funny and also has some great writing by X and Karen.
But anyway-here's a sample of AJ's opinion of ED:

The Kantians retort to the Aristotelians, accusations they are Randians and part of a closed loop i.e. closed mind philisophical system, and then go on to quote a woman ravaged by mental illness and say "her (Emily Dickinson) mysterious statements are so incomprehensible, they defy interpretation."
