I personally believe that Roger Ailes extended Whorealdo for $6 million just as he was leaving MSNBC for a purpose. He left a sure loser right in the middle of the MSNBC schedule and that has paid huge dividends in propelling the meteoric rise of Fox. Ailes recently hired away MSNBC's best - John Gibson. I'll bet GE Chairman Welch watches FoxNews too - I understand that he reads the Murdoch publications before others.
